Project Description
As part of Syntek Group, Arkhadaya has successfully completed the Grid-Interactive Hybrid System project in the remote village of Temajuk, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. This renewable energy initiative, carried out for PLN, was officially synchronized with the national grid on September 10, 2023, marking a significant milestone in expanding reliable and sustainable electricity access in Indonesia’s frontier regions.
At the core of this project lies the integration of Arkhadaya’s advanced engineering and the Syntek EMS BOX 2.0 Energy Management System, combining a 372.24 kWp Solar Power Plant, 708 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and a 440 kVA Diesel Generator (PLTD). This sophisticated configuration ensures system reliability by addressing intermittency caused by sunlight fluctuations and automatically balancing power generation among multiple energy sources.
With the inclusion of smart control and battery storage, the system maximizes solar energy utilization without relying on PLTD during the day (off-grid mode). At night, once stored energy is depleted, the system automatically switches to on-grid mode, activating the diesel generator seamlessly without compromising power quality. This integration significantly reduces diesel fuel consumption while extending electricity availability for residents from 12 to 24 hours daily.
As a leading EPC company under Syntek Group, Arkhadaya is proud to pioneer the implementation of grid-interactive hybrid systems in Indonesia. This achievement underscores our commitment to delivering innovative engineering solutions that accelerate the nation’s clean energy transition, support PLN’s electrification programs, and foster socio-economic growth across 3T regions (frontier, outermost, and lagging areas).
