Project Description
Throwing back to 2021, Arkhadaya (part of Syntek) successfully completed the installation of a 1.5 MWp rooftop solar PV system at the integrated palm oil company Bina Karya Prima (BKP) facility in Bekasi, West Java.
The installation, consisting of 2,788 PV modules, is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 1,629 tons of CO₂ annually, while supplying an additional 2,088 MWh of electricity per year to support factory operations. This ensures a significant reduction in electricity costs from the national grid (PLN).
By adopting renewable energy, BKP has taken an active role in advancing sustainability. This commitment is further demonstrated through the expansion of rooftop solar PV installations at its other plant in Gresik, East Java, with an additional capacity of 2 MWp.
