Project Description

As the main contractor for PLN, Arkhadaya (part of Syntek) successfully developed an off-grid solar PV plant with a capacity of 230 kWp and battery storage of 456 kWh in the remote region of East Nusa Tenggara. The system has been integrated into PLN’s electricity network in Nanga Meje Village, South Elar District, East Manggarai Regency, since June 9, 2022.

As part of continuous research and development, Arkhadaya (part of Syntek) also installed an Energy Monitoring System (EMS) to optimize the plant’s performance, including power generation regulation, battery charge/discharge cycles, and electrical protection systems. The EMS additionally enables data collection on generation, alarms, as well as solar irradiation and weather monitoring for at least two years—supporting future electricity network development analysis.

We take pride in making a tangible contribution to increasing Indonesia’s renewable energy mix by building off-grid solar PV plants in remote areas that previously had no access to electricity.
