Project Description
Arkhadaya, in collaboration with PT Xurya Daya Indonesia, has successfully completed the installation of a 1,878.8 kWp Rooftop Solar PV system at a leading glass manufacturing facility in Cikarang, West Java.
Commissioned on October 2, 2025, the project incorporates 3,080 solar modules and is projected to generate approximately 2,646.3 MWh of clean electricity annually. The system is also expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 2,033 metric tons of CO₂ each year—equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of 93,238 mature trees.
Beyond the installation of solar panels, the project included the integration of the PV system into the factory’s electrical network through a Medium Voltage (MV) interconnection, ensuring reliable power distribution to support large-scale industrial operations.
This Rooftop Solar PV implementation represents a significant milestone in the glass manufacturing industry’s transition toward greater energy efficiency, lower carbon emissions, and long-term sustainability. It demonstrates how renewable energy can play a vital role in creating more environmentally responsible industrial operations.
As a trusted Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner, Arkhadaya remains committed to delivering efficient, reliable, and sustainable solar energy solutions that accelerate Indonesia’s energy transition across diverse industrial sectors.
